REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:A doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a relevant medical sciences discipline is required. At least two years of agency experience in medical education, communications, or healthcare professional marketing is preferred. Demonstrated ability to construct compelling scientific narratives to differentiate client offerings strategically. A minimum of two years of experience in medical writing is essential. Proven experience in developing branded or unbranded peer-to-peer educational materials. Expertise in distilling relevant information from clinical literature and sources.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Associate Director of Medical Strategy, you will leverage your profound understanding of the life sciences industry to transform complex scientific and clinical data into actionable insights. Your critical thinking and strategic mindset will drive the development of recommendations that enhance the client’s brand positioning and address intricate business challenges. You will excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic insights for the development of clinically relevant educational materials that effectively utilize clinical data to meet brand objectives.

  • Independently create scientific content through the analysis and interpretation of clinical data across various project types.

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, actively monitor the competitive landscape, and perform thorough competitive analyses.

  • Build strong client relationships, contributing proactively in meetings and discussions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft engaging educational content and initiatives for healthcare professionals, including slide presentations and digital media.

  • Work closely with creative teams to develop interactive programs that utilize scientific storytelling and innovative data visualization techniques.

  • Collaborate in articulating the company's perspectives and recommendations to clients.

  • Play a pivotal role in educating team members about disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competitors.

  • Assist in the preparation of materials for medical and regulatory approval processes, integrating client and regulatory feedback.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
