The Associate Director of Financial Aid Counseling plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the customer service and counseling operations within the Office of Student Financial Services (SFS). This position is responsible for managing various student-facing service channels, which include in-person consultations, scheduled appointments, phone interactions, written communications, and departmental messaging. The Associate Director is tasked with overseeing FAFSA verification processes, special circumstance reviews, professional judgment decisions, as well as Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) processes. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality service while effectively administering student financial aid programs.
