REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Education: An advanced healthcare degree (preferred PharmD or higher). Experience: Minimum of five years in Medical Information or the pharmaceutical industry. Expertise in Medical Information industry practices and standards. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder needs effectively. Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and manage team members towards achieving organizational goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Associate Director of Medical Information is a vital role within our Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team. This position is crucial in ensuring that healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers receive prompt, scientifically accurate, and evidence-based information regarding pharmaceutical products. Additionally, the role involves managing adverse events and product complaints, contributing to client success through effective oversight and management of client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • People Management: Lead and develop a team of Medical Information Specialists and Managers, providing mentoring, coaching, and support for their professional growth. Oversee recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team.
  • Client Management & Operations: Ensure client satisfaction through strategic oversight, implementation of operational strategies, and regular communication. Monitor workload and staffing to optimize team performance and maintain service levels.
  • Training & Development: Design and execute comprehensive training programs for MICC staff to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery.
