ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Associate Director of Medical Information is a vital role within our Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team. This position is crucial in ensuring that healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers receive prompt, scientifically accurate, and evidence-based information regarding pharmaceutical products. Additionally, the role involves managing adverse events and product complaints, contributing to client success through effective oversight and management of client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- People Management: Lead and develop a team of Medical Information Specialists and Managers, providing mentoring, coaching, and support for their professional growth. Oversee recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team.
- Client Management & Operations: Ensure client satisfaction through strategic oversight, implementation of operational strategies, and regular communication. Monitor workload and staffing to optimize team performance and maintain service levels.
- Training & Development: Design and execute comprehensive training programs for MICC staff to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery.
