Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.8+ years of relevant experience in project management within the construction industry. Proven ability to manage client accounts effectively and efficiently. Experience in leading teams of project managers and supporting staff. Relevant consulting experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of the local construction market is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of the construction project life cycle. Ability to foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience in business development, including cross-selling opportunities.

Turner & Townsend is seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Project Management to become a vital member of our management team. This role is crucial in assisting the Director of Project Management to enhance the growth and profitability of our business unit through strategic leadership, business development, client relationship management, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Project Management to manage client relationships and generate new revenue through business development efforts and contract renewals.
  • Lead proposal generation efforts and bid teams alongside senior management to secure new work.
  • Present our service offerings during client interviews.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by interviewing potential candidates.
  • Deliver weekly project status updates, addressing any issues or conflicts as necessary.
  • Provide effective line management and mentorship to assigned staff, guiding their professional development.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools for financial management, including tracking margins and overseeing forecasts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for clients while following up on receivables.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with senior management to promote Turner & Townsend's services across the U. S.
  • Develop new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients, aligning with their diversification agendas.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, leveraging relevant experience and knowledge while collaborating with team members to generate new business.
  • Engage in networking events and promotional opportunities to enhance company visibility.
  • Lead project management teams in various sectors including commercial real estate, healthcare, data centers, life sciences, aviation, and semiconductor clients.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.
