Key Responsibilities of the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships:Mission: The primary goal of the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships is to identify, develop, and expand corporate and foundation partnerships to enhance the impact of Watson Institute’s Fellowship model. Partner Identification/Prospecting - 25%:Work in tandem with the CEO and VP of Strategic Partnerships to advance Watson Institute’s Fellowship model through research, outreach, and relationship cultivation with potential corporate partners. Participate actively in weekly prospecting discussions with the CEO and VP. Conduct thorough research and initiate outreach to aligned corporate and private foundation partners to establish Watson Institute-powered Fellowships. Prepare speaking and engagement applications for conferences that align with Watson Institute’s strategic objectives. Foster robust relationships with conference organizers to enhance Watson Institute’s visibility and engagement at significant events. Contribute to the design of systems and processes that improve tracking and development of prospective partnerships.
