Role Overview
As a vital member of our Fleet Management team, your role as an Associate Fleet Technician will form the backbone of Nuro's vehicle operations and customer support. This entry-level technical position is essential for our vehicle operations, enabling you to play a key role in maintaining our autonomous fleet. If you possess a mechanical inclination and are keen to step into the dynamic arena of robotics and autonomous vehicles, this role is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Readiness & Maintenance: Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance checks to maximize vehicle uptime.
- System Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Initiate triage and resolve standard hardware and software issues, documenting and escalating complex problems as necessary.
- Component-Level Work: Perform minor mechanical repairs, part replacements, and modifications on Nuro vehicles and robotics in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Operational Support: Assist with the transfer, setup, and extraction of autonomous vehicles and robots in designated operational zones.
- Process Adherence & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and adhere to established operational procedures.
