The Role
As the Associate General Counsel for Employment & Labor Relations, you will report directly to Hadrian's General Counsel, acting as the primary legal advisor for all employment and labor-related matters. Your focus will be on guiding a substantial non-exempt workforce across multiple locations nationwide.
This strategic, hands-on position is ideal for a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in employment and labor law, who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will collaborate closely with the General Counsel and the People and Operations teams to ensure workforce compliance, develop policies, and manage labor and employment risks effectively.
What You’ll Do
Provide expert legal counsel on all facets of labor and employment law, including:
Wage and hour regulations
Hiring, termination, and performance management practices
Employee policies, handbooks, and contractual agreements
Leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, and workforce issues
Assist in workforce planning initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (People, Finance, Operations) to implement employment law compliance in an advanced manufacturing setting
Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts and related documents
Create and maintain policies, playbooks, training materials, and guidance for management and staff
Act as a subject matter expert on HR and employment law best practices, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
Support internal investigations or audits as needed
