We are in search of an Associate Legal Counsel who is meticulous, organized, and passionate about delivering precise legal solutions in a dynamic environment. This role will provide essential support to our senior legal counsel and management teams across various matters related to our futures, equities, fixed income, private investments, and cryptocurrency trading platforms. Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly mastering the firm’s agreements, including employment, membership, intellectual property, licensing, financing, acquisition, and other commercial contracts.
- Negotiating third-party agreements with strategic insight into both legal consequences and business objectives.
- Assisting in the legal, regulatory, and operational facets of our regulated financial market investment and trading operations.
- Conducting due diligence on investments, acquisitions, and trader engagements.
- Providing support for disputes, claims, and litigation as necessary.
- Demonstrating sound judgment in evaluating the quality, accuracy, and relevance of information.
- Formulating logical conclusions and delivering dependable advice and work products based on pertinent information and applicable laws, including SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA, and exchange regulations.
- Adopting an innovative and proactive mindset to identify creative solutions to complex legal or policy issues and business challenges.
- Communicating effectively and concisely with personnel at all levels, including supervisors, colleagues, traders, and support staff.
- Organizing tasks and prioritizing effectively to achieve both immediate and long-term objectives.
