Position Summary:

Join Natera as an Associate Medical Director in Oncology and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing cancer care. In this high-impact leadership position, you will lend your medical expertise to Natera's oncology portfolio, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in research, development, commercial, and medical affairs. Your focus will be on maintaining the scientific integrity and facilitating the clinical adoption of our innovative oncology testing solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Development:
    • Partner with the Sr. Medical Director, Oncology to drive the clinical development of ctDNA-based diagnostics.
    • Lead the formulation and execution of clinical strategies for Natera's oncology products.
  • Medical Education and Communication:
    • Manage medical education initiatives and scientific communications directed at healthcare providers regarding Natera's oncology solutions.
    • Collaborate with the commercial team to craft and present impactful medical messages for our oncology products.
  • Representation and Advocacy:
    • Represent Natera at various medical conferences and industry events, whether in-person or virtual.
    • Encourage a culture of scientific excellence and intellectual curiosity within the oncology team.
  • Research and Development:
    • Work closely with research and development teams on clinical trial design, data analysis, and publication efforts.

Key Skill Sets / Responsibilities:

  • Gynecologic Cancer-Specific Expertise:
    • Comprehensive understanding of Gynecologic Cancer, with the capacity to devise and implement strategies tailored to this field.
    • Provide expert guidance and support on Gynecologic oncology cases and clinical trials.
  • Broad Oncology Knowledge:
    • Ability to discuss various histologies and indications, ensuring extensive knowledge across the oncology spectrum.
    • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in different cancer types and incorporate this knowledge into Natera’s oncology products.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:
    • Engage with diverse teams across the organization to foster innovation and drive progress in oncology initiatives.
