Role Overview: Associate Production Manager
The Associate Production Manager plays a key role in maintaining product quality and alignment with the Mizzen+Main brand. This position leads production efforts, manages the global production lifecycle, and negotiates product margins to support the company’s financial goals. The role calls for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable improving processes as the business grows and new vendor relationships develop.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze and negotiate FOB costing by units and minimums to achieve or surpass product margin goals.
- Confirm product costing and delivery timelines each season for all styles.
- Track and report on department KPIs, focusing on On-Time Delivery (OTD) and the mix of Air vs. Sea freight, to protect margins and support decision-making.
- Manage the purchase order (PO) lifecycle in partnership with Planning, including issuing, updating, and maintaining all POs to reflect approved changes.
