Job Description
The Associate Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing multidisciplinary design services for various land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. This position manages the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of high-quality, purpose-driven projects that meet engineering and design needs.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Building project teams and assigning responsibilities to align technical skills and expertise with project goals.
- Defining and communicating project scope, schedule, and budget to the project team, clients, and contractors, acting as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
- Developing and managing project budgets, monitoring expenses to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability.
- Securing necessary resources for every project phase to ensure deadlines are met.
- Identifying potential risks or additional costs in project plans and implementing strategies to mitigate impacts.
- Organizing and conducting regular project meetings to align expectations and performance with clients and team members.
- Documenting all project deliverables and maintaining comprehensive records, including correspondence and design plans.
- Fostering strong client relationships to secure ongoing and future work opportunities.
- Overseeing contract negotiations and related activities.
