- Join our Analytical R&D team in Andover, MA, to contribute to the advancement of groundbreaking biological therapeutics at Pfizer Worldwide Research and Development.
- As an Associate Scientist, you will collaborate with a specialized group dedicated to developing analytical methods and strategies essential for progressing biotherapeutic products through our pipeline. Your responsibilities will include method development and qualification, process support, formulation and stability evaluation, and product characterization.
- You will gain proficiency in various analytical techniques including HPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, CE, UV-Vis, and a range of compendial assays.
- Your primary role will involve conducting routine analytical testing using established methodologies to ensure product quality and compliance.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with some or all of the listed analytical techniques applied to the analysis of biologics such as proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is also required. Familiarity with cGMPs and experience with data systems like Waters Empower® are advantageous.
- Essential skills include expertise in HPLC and/or CGE (SDS-CE). Empower® experience is highly preferred. Strong documentation skills are critical, as you will be expected to compile and interpret data for both your team and stakeholders. Success in this role will depend on your ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
