Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: A genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Strong patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED is required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and undergo a Tuberculosis test within the last year. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.) as required. Capacity to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will help children develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills while addressing challenging behaviors. This position requires individuals who are patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative environment. We provide extensive training to ensure you are prepared to support each child’s unique needs, even if you are new to this field.

As a Behavior Technician, you must be physically active and comfortable engaging in various activities, including standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
