Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and meticulous Auto Body Paint Prepper to be part of our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in vehicle preparation for painting, including sand, mask, and prime surfaces. This role is vital for achieving a flawless paint finish and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

· Surface Preparation: Sand, mask, and clean vehicle surfaces in readiness for painting.

· Priming: Apply primers and sealers to repaired areas for optimal paint adhesion.

· Vehicle Protection: Carefully mask and tape surrounding areas to prevent overspray and guarantee clean paint lines.

· Inspection: Perform pre- and post-prep inspections to meet quality standards.

· Equipment Use: Operate and upkeep prep tools and equipment in optimal condition.

· Workplace Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy, organized workspace.

· Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with painters and body technicians to ensure timely and precise job completion.
