Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Auto Body Prepper/Painter to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing vehicles for the painting process through various tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking. This position offers opportunities for growth within our paint department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanding vehicle surfaces to achieve a smooth finish for painting
  • Applying masking tape and paper to safeguard areas not meant for painting
  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
  • Ensuring proper paint adhesion by removing dirt, debris, and surface imperfections
  • Assisting in mixing paint and primers following manufacturer specifications
  • Operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools
  • Collaborating with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
