Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to assess and restore vehicles from damaged states to their original structural integrity, functionality, and appearance. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze damage reports and repair estimates to strategize work processes.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of collision damage, ensuring all vehicle exterior parts and power accessories are operational.
  • Execute structural and complete body repairs, including the assessment, repair, or replacement of components such as doors, frames, and underbody parts.
  • Straighten bent frames utilizing frame pulling and anchoring equipment, and repair dents using appropriate tools.
  • Utilize MIG welders and compression spot welders for vehicle repairs.
  • Dismantle damaged vehicle areas to uncover hidden damages early in the repair process.
  • Skillfully file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using both power and hand tools.
  • Prepare auto body surfaces for painting by masking and taping, applying primers, and repainting.
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic fillers to address imperfections.
  • Restore vehicles to factory specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for proper handling and functionality.
