About Us
At Metriport, we are revolutionizing healthcare data management through our open-source data intelligence platform. Our mission is to empower healthcare organizations by facilitating real-time access and exchange of patient data. We seamlessly integrate with all major U. S. healthcare IT systems, providing insights into comprehensive medical data for over 300 million individuals.
With a proven product-market fit, we have achieved multi-million ARR and serve over 100 clients, including industry leaders like Amazon, Color, and Strive Health. Backed by prominent venture capitalists, we are poised for rapid growth. Our team consists of high-performing individuals, primarily former founders including two Y Combinator alumni. We maintain a strong engineering focus, operate with minimal bureaucracy, and prioritize competence over prestige in our hiring process. While we work diligently, with founders often putting in six days a week at our SF office, we also value flexibility, allowing team members to manage their schedules. We emphasize productivity and are committed to sustainable work intensity.
About You
You have a passion for automating repetitive tasks, and your immediate thought when encountering a manual process is, 'How can I streamline this?' At Metriport, you will take charge of developing and maintaining the internal tools that drive our efficiency. You will proactively identify challenges, create solutions, and implement them without needing direction.
You possess an entrepreneurial spirit, driven to advance projects even when they may not be prioritized by others.
Your strong interpersonal skills enable effective collaboration with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and business teams to discern their needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
You are a natural problem-solver, excited by the challenge of connecting disparate services and ensuring secure, scalable integration.
You prioritize security, especially as we handle sensitive healthcare data. You rigorously assess third-party integrations, apply least-privilege principles, and never compromise on security that could jeopardize patient information.
You stay updated on developments in AI tooling, leveraging them to address genuine business challenges while exercising sound judgment regarding their appropriateness in an enterprise context.
You value outcomes over perfection. A practical solution that saves the operations team significant time is far more valuable than an overly complicated but unused tool.
What You'll Be Doing
Following your onboarding process to familiarize yourself with our internal tools and workflows, you will take ownership of the systems that enhance our operational efficiency and agility.
