Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic, people-centric Automotive Sales Manager to oversee our New and Pre-Owned vehicle sales operations. In this pivotal role, you will mentor and guide our sales and management teams, implement structured processes, and create a memorable guest experience that sets us apart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and ensure accountability among all sales managers and associates.
- Conduct daily huddles, individual coaching sessions, and training programs to enhance performance and personal growth.
- Manage critical sales KPIs including appointments, show rates, test drives, write-ups, and closing ratios.
- Guarantee prompt, high-quality lead responses and optimal CRM utilization across the team.
- Collaborate with BDC, F&I, and Fixed Ops to optimize profitability and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Supervise inventory management, pricing strategies, and deal structures to ensure compliance and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales management (both new and used vehicles).
- Proven success in achieving volume, gross profit, and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) goals.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, desking tools, and digital retailing platforms (experience with Tekion is a plus).
- A high-integrity leader who is passionate about coaching and fostering a positive company culture.
- A genuine passion for automobiles, with extensive knowledge of Honda vehicles and products.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and determined to excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic dealership environment.
- Strong customer service skills and an aptitude for building strong relationships with clients.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
