Join Kia of Englewood as a Kia Certified Service Technician, a unique opportunity tailored for skilled military veterans. Our Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is designed to help you launch a fulfilling career in the automotive industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Skillfully diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of Kia vehicles, focusing on components such as engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests, adhering to Kia and retailer policies and procedures.
- Conduct test drives and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies alongside specialized equipment to thoroughly analyze and resolve vehicle issues.
- Efficiently perform services, diagnostics, and repairs, while maintaining clear communication with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
This position offers full-time employment with independently owned Kia retailers. Please note that applications are for employment with a participating Kia retailer and not directly with Kia America, Inc.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an honorable discharge from military service.
- Valid driver's license from any state with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential.
- Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
