Position Overview

The Aviation Tool Room Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and effective educational environment in the school lab/shop area. This position is responsible for overseeing the control of tools, equipment, and supplies utilized by both students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively issue, track, inspect, and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring their proper functionality and safety for all users.
  • Implement and manage safety programs, conduct tool inspections, calibrations, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, anticipate shortages, maintain accurate records, and report lost or damaged tools to ensure the availability of materials for class projects.
  • Assemble and issue tools and equipment for students and faculty as required.
