Within Agoda's Back-End Engineering department, we design and implement scalable, resilient systems and APIs that encompass our core business logic. Our systems manage critical functions such as inventory and pricing, product information, customer data, communications, partner data, booking systems, payments, and more. We utilize cutting-edge CI/CD methodologies and testing techniques to ensure seamless operations without downtime. Our infrastructure is designed to be self-healing, efficiently handling extreme loads and unexpected inputs. Embracing modern languages like Kotlin and Scala, we apply data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, MLflow, Kubeflow, and VastStorage, all while adhering to agile development practices.
