About the job
About Us
At Secturelabs, we are a dynamic team of over 40 technology professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality software, products, and services to our clients. If you're searching for a project or team that prioritizes software quality and best practices, combined with a fantastic work environment where you can learn, have fun, and collaborate closely with your colleagues, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! You can learn more about us at www. Secture.com.
Our Team and Culture
Our members come from diverse technological backgrounds, making us comfortable working with agile methodologies and flexible workflows. We work remotely from various locations, while actively promoting our culture through daily stand-ups (complete with “ruinas”), random coffee meet-ups, discussions, training sessions, in-person events, and let’s not even get started on our Discord channels...
At Secture, we prioritize our team’s well-being, environment, and culture, and we seek individuals who share our commitment to these values.
Responsibilities
First Month | Onboarding
We’ll sit down with you to explain our business model, introduce you to the team, demonstrate our workflow, the tools we use, and provide you with everything you need during your initial days with us. Our technology team will guide you through our stack, and you’ll get to know all team members and the essential context needed for your project and work environment.
You may join us mid-sprint. We start every day with a relaxed daily meeting at 10 AM, where we briefly discuss our individual progress, followed by each team holding their own daily meetings.
During this first month, both your development colleagues and our project managers will support you with everything you need for your assigned project. We primarily communicate through Discord, document in Drive and Notion, and use video calls for meetings. Depending on the project, we also work with Monday, Trello, and Jira.
Following Months
As you become familiar with the project, team, and stack, you'll be able to assist in estimating tasks and developments that help prioritize the project backlog. Some sprints will involve work aimed at performance improvements, refactoring, eliminating legacy code, avoiding bottlenecks, and enhancing future scalability. We actively encourage team members to share their ideas and proposals without fear.
