Role Overview

The Backend Engineer will join a small, focused team working on security projects that emphasize cryptography, automation, and AI-powered analysis. This role involves hands-on development, close collaboration with senior engineers, and contributions across the stack. The team works closely with product and design to deliver secure, reliable features.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and ship backend features for the product.
Write clean, maintainable code for systems running on AWS or GCP.
Work with AI and cryptography specialists to strengthen security.
Partner with the product manager to define requirements, plan architecture, map data flows, specify APIs, and develop testing strategies.
Follow engineering best practices and join discussions on process and quality improvements.
Iterate on features using customer feedback.
Create automated tests for load, performance, and error handling.
