We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer skilled in Python to join our innovative team at dutytaker. You will be responsible for developing robust backend solutions using the Django ecosystem and Django REST Framework (DRF). Your proficiency in asynchronous programming will help us prototype faster and more efficiently.
You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to OpenAPI specifications where applicable. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and basic Functional Programming in Python is essential, along with experience in caching, distributed caching, RESTful APIs, standard authentication methods, and Websockets.
Moreover, analyzing algorithmic efficiency and understanding code complexity will be part of your role. Familiarity with Linux, databases (including ORM, database migration, SQL, and NoSQL), and debugging/profiling are also required.
