Your Opportunity in This Role
As an intern on our team, you will collaborate with some of the most talented engineers in the industry. Reporting directly to the Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as your contributions will reach millions of customers. You will work on scalable services capable of processing tens of millions of orders each day, with each service meticulously designed to manage potential failures and ensure reliability.
This internship is based in our Petaling Jaya office.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power our applications.
- Engage in the architectural design of backend systems, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with industry best practices and coding standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues within existing backend services.
