Qualifications

Genuine passion for helping children with autism. Ability to work well in a team, demonstrating patience and compassion. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, and pass a Tuberculosis test if necessary. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must earn Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

In this fulfilling position, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your role involves applying evidence-based practices to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living tasks, while also minimizing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential. Your patience, compassion, and teamwork abilities will be essential in this role.

No prior experience is necessary, as we offer comprehensive training to equip you for success. However, you should be prepared for a physically active job, which may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Working with children can be unpredictable and challenging, requiring resilience and a positive attitude.
