Qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with developmental disabilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in both oral and written communication in English and Spanish.

Join the Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC) as a Bilingual Social Worker in our Early Start Division. This is a dynamic role that offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to engage with the community, work from any of our offices in San Mateo County, or from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with families of clients aged 0-3 to create, implement, and manage Family Service Plans.
  • Advocate for clients and their families, ensuring they receive entitled services and support.
  • Monitor child development and provide developmental activities to promote growth.
  • Develop action plans for community resources and provide referrals.
  • Research and evaluate community resources, ensuring families have access to essential services.
  • Participate in community meetings and internal staff discussions.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Travel Requirements: Local travel within San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties, along with occasional statewide travel, is necessary. Reliable transportation is required.

Fluency in Spanish is a must.
