Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Strong patience and compassion, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and pass a tuberculosis test if not done in the past year. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to move in various positions (e.g., sit, squat, bend). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bilingual in Spanish is required.

In this rewarding role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include employing evidence-based techniques to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
