Our team is adept at delivering practical and economically viable protective design solutions across a multitude of sectors, including high-rise buildings, petrochemical facilities, aviation, defense, and transportation infrastructure. We specialize in structural reinforcement to enhance the resilience of people and structures against both accidental and intentional blast and impact events, ensuring the seamless integration of these solutions into building designs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and aesthetic appeal.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Leadership & Design: Provide specialized technical insights on blast and protection engineering, leading the design of blast protection measures including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and intricate structural analyses.
- Project Delivery: Manage the output and workload for blast-related projects, developing work plans, defining tasks, and ensuring rigorous quality management and technical assurance.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their business practices and objectives, identify challenges, and devise effective strategies. Engage with sector leads within our Building & Places Business unit and coordinate with general Building Engineering teams.
- Business Development: Support initiatives for business development, including sales and securing new work.
- Risk & Threat Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate threats, likelihood, and consequences, determining risk severity and appropriate mitigation measures.
- Documentation & Reporting: Generate high-quality documentation, such as employer’s requirements, specifications, feasibility studies, and concept/scheme designs.
- Project Management: Oversee projects for clients, including progress reporting and contract management as necessary.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Advocate for best practices in Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
