Join CCRES as a dedicated school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within the Reading School District, collaborating closely with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) to make a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Sign-on Bonus: A total of $5,000 available for BCBAs who commit to at least 25 billable hours. This includes an initial $2,500 after the first billable service, followed by a second installment of $2,500 issued 90 days post-hire.

Position Overview:

  • Compensation ranges from $75 to $79 per hour, dependent on relevant experience as a BCBA (independent contractor/1099).
  • Hours are scheduled Monday through Friday within the school setting.
  • Experience in emotional support is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and produce detailed reports summarizing findings.
  • Design and implement positive behavioral support strategies using evidence-based methods.
  • Evaluate students' instructional needs and formulate suitable programming.
  • Monitor student data consistently and adjust programming as necessary.
  • Collaborate with staff to create tools for tracking progress on behavioral goals and train them on implementing these plans.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of behavioral assessment and development of positive behavior support plans.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
  • BCBA certification is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience post-BCBA certification.

Credentials Required:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate.
  • Educational documentation: either diploma or official transcripts.
  • Professional liability insurance.

All clearances must be current within the last 12 months, including:

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance.
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance.
  • PA Department of Education FBI clearance (use code: 1KG6XN).
  • Current TB screening (within 3 months).

*Note: The bonus is contingent upon the new hire fulfilling a commitment to 25 billable hours. Failure to meet this requirement within 90 days will result in the forfeiture of the second installment.
