About the job

As a Box Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation of automotive parts, tires, oil, and shop supplies among our distribution centers, vendors, and Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers locations. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver these items safely and on time while adhering to company standards and transportation regulations.

  • Safe Operation of Box Truck: Drive the box truck responsibly, complying with all traffic laws, DOT regulations (if applicable), and company protocols, while maintaining control in various road and weather conditions.
  • Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload tires, oil, parts, and supplies, utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.), ensuring cargo is secured to prevent damage during transit.
  • Delivery & Route Management: Execute scheduled delivery routes to multiple store locations, guaranteeing accurate and timely drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Confirm product quantities and types against delivery documentation, promptly reporting any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Vehicle Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, assessing tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, and overall vehicle condition, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Customer & Store Interaction: Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when engaging with store team members, vendors, and distribution staff.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork, along with any required DOT documentation, and adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company guidelines.
