While guests are still asleep, you, as a true morning person, begin preparing the breakfast buffet with a cheerful demeanor. The restaurant fills with the delightful aromas of warm bread rolls and various dishes. If someone enters with a morning grump, you know exactly how to turn that around with your hospitality to create a wonderful experience!

As a Breakfast Chef, you ensure our guests kick off their day in the best way possible!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Breakfast Chef at Van der Valk Lelystad, there’s more to the role than you might think. Here, you'll learn what hospitality truly means: we don’t say no, but rather offer alternatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being creative and contributing ideas for new dishes;

  • Preparing dishes according to recipes or as directed by the Sous Chef & Chef;

  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP and health regulations;

  • Maintaining cleanliness in your work environment.
