While guests are still asleep, you, as a true morning person, begin preparing the breakfast buffet with a cheerful demeanor. The restaurant fills with the delightful aromas of warm bread rolls and various dishes. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Breakfast Chef at Van der Valk Lelystad, there’s more to the role than you might think. Here, you'll learn what hospitality truly means: we don’t say no, but rather offer alternatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Being creative and contributing ideas for new dishes;
Preparing dishes according to recipes or as directed by the Sous Chef & Chef;
Ensuring compliance with HACCP and health regulations;
Maintaining cleanliness in your work environment.
