Note: Engagements are project-based and not permanent positions.Role OverviewAs a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist, you will leverage your extensive hands-on experience to develop realistic disruption scenarios, outline expected outcomes and mitigation strategies, and assess AI-generated recommendations for their accuracy, relevance, and completeness.Project ResponsibilitiesWhile tasks may vary by project, typical responsibilities may include:Creating authentic supply chain disruption scenarios (e.g., supplier delays, quantity fluctuations, logistics challenges, quality failures) based on real-world manufacturing and procurement situations.Establishing anticipated outcomes and suitable mitigation strategies for each scenario.Evaluating AI-generated insights and recommendations against practical business logic.Reviewing outputs for accuracy, completeness, and relevance within ERP systems (particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba/SAP).Participating in structured data creation and validation tasks in accordance with established guidelines and frameworks.Qualifications and SkillsAt least 4 years of practical experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing context.In-depth understanding of procurement processes: purchase orders, vendor management, inventory control, and production planning.Practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.Demonstrated ability to design and analyze supply chain disruption scenarios and their corresponding mitigation strategies.Solid comprehension of various types of disruptions: delays, shortages, quality issues, and logistical challenges.Knowledge of Incoterms and transportation/logistics management principles.Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and production planning protocols.Experience measuring supplier performance metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality scores).Analytical mindset with the capability to evaluate AI outputs against real-world business criteria.Experience with data validation, structured data entry, or annotation tasks.Proficient written communication skills in English.How the Process WorksApply → Complete qualification(s) → Join a project → Execute tasks → Get compensated.Project Time CommitmentThis project is expected to require approximately 10-20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project demands.
