We are currently seeking a Business Affairs Manager to join our dedicated team supporting McDonald's.

This position is based in Brooklyn, New York, requiring four days in the office and one day remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate creative materials, providing guidance to agency teams on talent, music, insurance, copyright, and intellectual property, and recommending suitable next steps.
  • Collaborate with internal legal counsel to oversee rights, clearances, and contract matters throughout productions.
  • Prepare and review estimates regarding talent fees, residuals, and other production costs associated with talent/music.
  • Offer advice on union issues, including SAG-AFTRA and AFM guidelines.
  • Monitor usage for significant talent guarantees and address renewal or renegotiation needs.
  • Generate and distribute essential production documents, including talent agreements, licenses, insurance certificates, production contracts, and vendor scopes of work.
  • Review scripts, decks, rough cuts, and final creative for clearance and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate with production, finance, and payroll vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payments for talent.
  • Maintain organized records of talent agreements, payment documents, and job materials for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Oversee talent budgets and assist in reconciling talent-related costs throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor and talent payments in collaboration with Account Management and Finance.
  • Capture all relevant documentation in job jackets and completion reports.
