As a pivotal link between business stakeholders and the technical team, the Business & Data Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping the StoreOps systems. This position is responsible for gathering business requirements, designing effective store processes, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving data-informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end system architecture for StoreOps platforms including POS, inventory, supply chain, and store reporting systems.
- Specify microservices, event-driven, or monolithic architectures based on project requirements.
- Design systems that are high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable.
- Establish standards for APIs, integration patterns, and data flow architecture.
- Implement cloud architecture using AWS, Azure, or GCP and define infrastructure patterns.
Technical Leadership
- Guide backend and frontend engineers with technical direction.
- Perform architecture reviews and grant design approvals.
- Set coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices in DevOps.
- Enhance system performance and fortify system security.
Integration & Enterprise Alignment
- Oversee integrations with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, payment gateways, WMS, and third-party vendors.
- Define security models including RBAC, authentication, encryption, and compliance protocols.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise IT standards and governance frameworks.
Quality & Risk Management
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Guarantee system observability through logging, monitoring, and tracing.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts.
