Position Overview

As the Business Development Manager, your primary mission will be to position us as the leading supplier and buyer of recycled PET (rPET) in the region. You will spearhead the procurement and sales of recycled plastics, focusing on PET (rPET) across Latin America. This senior leadership role entails developing regional strategies, cultivating a commercial network, and nurturing a high-performing team, while also engaging in direct trading and business development activities.

Collaboration with global and local teams is essential in this dynamic environment where entrepreneurial spirit and proactive engagement are key to success. We seek an ambitious leader driven by commercial success, adept at negotiation, and focused on delivering tangible results.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Collaborate with the CEO and cross-functional leaders to craft and implement the regional business development strategy.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team in LATAM.
  • Identify and seize new market opportunities to drive growth.
  • Enhance financial outcomes and regional expansion.

Business Development & Trading

  • Analyze the LATAM market to pinpoint new suppliers and buyers in the manufacturing, recycling, and waste sectors.
  • Gain a profound understanding of customer needs, challenges, and commercial incentives.
  • Establish enduring relationships with key suppliers and buyers.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts for consistent volumes of waste and recycled materials.
  • Market rPET sourced globally to licensed manufacturers and recyclers.
  • Maximize profit margins through strategic negotiation and deal structuring.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate partners and gather essential market insights.
