We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to represent our brands within a dedicated territory. This field-based sales position is crucial for driving growth in the important Symbols & Independents (S&I) retail sector. As part of a collaborative territory team, your ability to work in unison to achieve collective goals will be instrumental to our success.

What we’re looking for…

As a BDR, you will play a pivotal role in the National Field Sales Team, taking on the responsibility of supporting and expanding our presence in a defined portfolio of Impulse outlets. Your efforts will be guided by our core principles: GAIN, RETAIN, MAXIMISE.

Sales & Growth Execution

  • Proactive Distribution: Actively pursue the distribution and availability of AG Barr’s core brand range, educating retailers on our Hero, Core, and More brands to boost sales.
  • Target Delivery: Achieve sales KPIs consistently, including growth in market share, display placements, availability, and overall scorecard improvements, utilizing data to track performance and showcase growth.
  • Energy Focus: Contribute significantly to our ongoing Energy Portfolio distribution plan, tapping into this high-growth sector.

Category Expertise & Partnership

  • Build Lasting Relationships: Be a personable and relatable partner, quickly establishing rapport to secure customer commitment and confidently present our brands.
  • Trusted Advisor: Leverage your market insights to educate retailers, providing support with re-merchandising to maximize sales for both the retailer and AG Barr.
  • Execution with Excellence: Communicate brand plans with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring our brands are accurately represented at the point of purchase through impactful Point of Sale (POS) materials.

Field Operations & Collaboration

  • Flawless Organisation: Maintain excellent time management, effective route planning, and meet call targets to maximize your day while ensuring all POS materials are organized for each visit.
  • Team Collaboration: Function as a key member of a broader territory team, showcasing a collaborative spirit to achieve shared objectives.
