RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Reporting, preferably in eCommerce or retail. Profound knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Proficient in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar. Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Ability to analyze large datasets and pinpoint trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. Exceptional communication skills; capable of presenting insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, etc.). Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines. Exposure to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Ads reporting. Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics. Understanding of business operations and KPI frameworks in eCommerce.

Hourly Rate: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing business data to deliver actionable insights that empower decision-makers across various departments including marketing, sales, operations, and finance. This position demands practical experience in data modeling, dashboard creation, and reporting, as well as the capability to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at transforming complex data into intuitive visual representations and strategic business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence dashboards and reports for multiple business areas (marketing, sales, operations).
  • Examine business performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to generate actionable insights.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and develop data solutions.
  • Convert complex data sets into clear and engaging visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Track key metrics and provide routine reporting on sales, customer behavior, and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements through data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting tools.
  • Assist in the implementation of data warehouses and BI tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep-dive studies to address specific business inquiries.
