In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge business intelligence architectures and solutions. Engage with a suite of advanced TechOps technology products, integrating real-time data from Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and harnessing the power of Snowflake cloud data warehouse environments. Collaborate across various functions to provide insightful analytics and reporting through industry-leading tools, ensuring business stakeholders have timely and reliable data to enhance strategic decision-making.
DESCRIPTION
Lead the management and development of ETL processes utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, and KNIME to capture essential business, technical, and reporting requirements. Ensure the maintenance of data pipelines and workflows for real-time updates and precise data replication across various databases and reporting platforms. Establish comprehensive error reporting and notification systems through email and other alert mechanisms. (25%)
Design and deploy scalable analytical systems for end users, including interactive dashboards and reports crafted in Tableau and KNIME. Automate production reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, and create flexible, reliable relational database models within SQL Server and Snowflake. (25%)
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to thoroughly understand business needs, applying data mining techniques to unify data from diverse sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data storage and reporting solutions for operational and financial audits, including creating new database schemas and automating key analytics delivery. (10%)
Work closely with stakeholders to document data requirements, build unified data sources, and develop interactive dashboards in Tableau that reflect key performance metrics. Manage Tableau Server environments, including user access, permissions, and dashboard publishing and maintenance. Continually enhance published dashboards to align with evolving business needs. (10%)
Identify and implement opportunities to automate and enhance reporting workflows across the organization, facilitating data-driven decision-making. Write SQL queries for relational and multidimensional databases (SQL Server, Snowflake) to meet complex business requirements. (10%)
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure seamless data integration and synchronization between systems using Snowflake and KNIME. Provide technical support for reporting tools and generate ad-hoc reports as necessary through SQL queries; swiftly implement dashboard and application updates to keep pace with business changes. (10%)
