City Wide Chicago Shores is on the lookout for a proactive and engaging Business Operations & Contractor Manager. This crucial position serves as the backbone of our team, overseeing daily business operations while managing a pipeline of independent contractors (ICs) who provide exceptional service to our clients.
We require a dynamic and hands-on manager, not someone who simply oversees from a distance. You will thrive in an active environment, engaging in researching, calling, qualifying, interviewing, recruiting, onboarding, and supporting independent contractors daily. Additionally, you will ensure that office functions and business processes operate efficiently, with a focus on organization and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding of Independent Contractors:
Research, source, reach out, screen, interview, and onboard a consistent pool of highly qualified independent contractors (ICs); maintain detailed records and nurture relationships to ensure ongoing coverage. - Contractor Management:
Establish expectations, gather compliance and insurance documents, monitor ongoing requirements, and ensure all ICs adhere to City Wide’s operational and quality standards. - Office & Business Operations:
Manage office administration, assist in maintaining CRM data, oversee supplies, and keep reporting, proposals, contracts, and compliance documents updated and audit-ready. - Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Maintain detailed dashboards and records to provide leadership with visibility into operational and contractor statuses; proactively communicate any risks and needs. - Team Communication & Culture:
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Leadership; promote team engagement, recognition, and training events for both contractors and staff. - Represent City Wide:
Professional and confident representation of our brand in all interactions with contractors, clients, and partners, fostering mutual respect and loyalty by leading through action. - Additional Duties:
Assist the President/Owner and other teams as business needs evolve.
