MazeHQ, an AI-driven vulnerability management company, is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join its remote UK team. This position carries broad responsibility for strengthening the company’s operational foundation and supporting continued growth. The Business Operations Manager works closely with the VP of Operations, taking ownership of essential business functions and building systems to help the founding team focus on strategic work.
What You Will Do
- Build and Refine Operational Systems: Design, implement, and improve processes that help MazeHQ scale. Develop frameworks that allow the team to work efficiently and focus on their core strengths.
- Keep the Company Connected: Oversee routines that keep the fully remote team aligned, such as preparing board materials, organizing all-hands meetings, supporting executive planning, and coordinating offsite events. Develop reporting tools to keep everyone updated on project progress.
- Use AI to Streamline Operations: Identify and apply AI tools to automate tasks and improve productivity, supporting MazeHQ’s lean team structure.
- Document and Share Institutional Knowledge: Create and maintain processes, registers, and dashboards that capture operational practices, ensuring knowledge is accessible as the company grows.
- Drive Financial Transparency: Oversee financial operations, including budgets, cash flow, and reporting for investors. Provide leadership with clear data for decision-making.
- Lead Compliance and People Operations: Develop and manage programs to meet compliance requirements and support MazeHQ’s workforce as the team expands.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings rigor from experience in consultancy, finance, or operations at a scaling startup. Strong commercial judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive to build effective systems are essential.
