Join the NYC Department of Design and Construction as a Capital Budget Analyst in a full-time role of 35 hours per week. Located at 30-30 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101, you will play a crucial role in managing the agency's capital budget. Your responsibilities will involve developing budget submissions for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and addressing OMB inquiries regarding financial plans. Key tasks include preparing Certificate to Proceed (CP) documents, ensuring alignment with the Capital Commitment Plan and eligibility for contract registration with the Comptroller, and managing project scopes.
In this dynamic position, you will assist in updating capital forecasts in the Financial Management System (FMS), forecasting task orders and change orders, modifying the Capital Plan based on recent cost estimates, and tracking project processes against fiscal year targets. Additional responsibilities comprise preparing Budget Code Modifications, creating Fixed Asset Intent (FNs) and Commodity Requisition (RQC1s) in FMS for timely contract registration, reviewing Capital Project Initiations (CPIs) for budget and schedule alignment, and entering new projects into the project tracking system (PIMS, Benchmark).
