Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position offers the chance to positively impact patients' lives while working closely with a team of committed healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to create and execute treatment plans for patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
  • Administer medications, monitor responses, and modify treatment strategies as needed.
  • Perform cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic assessments.
  • Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular wellness, preventive strategies, and the significance of medication adherence.
  • Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Possess knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines.
  • Document precise medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and government standards while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Analyze and manage the care of critically complex patients.
