About the job
In the role of an Educational Support Worker for schools and kindergartens as per §112; §113 SGB IX or §35a SGB VIII, you will closely collaborate with children and adolescents with special educational needs. Your primary responsibility will be to assist these individuals in navigating their classroom and kindergarten environments. This includes actively organizing materials and tasks, as well as helping them cope with daily routines.
A significant focus will be placed on enhancing social interactions; you'll contribute to developing and strengthening their social skills to promote positive relationships with peers. Moreover, you will work alongside teachers, educators, therapists, and other support personnel to ensure the individual needs of each child are adequately met.
Your position as an Educational Support Worker is vital in providing all children and students the best possible educational opportunities, allowing them to realize their full potential according to their unique needs and capabilities.
The scope of support is determined by the individual needs of children and adolescents within a class or group and is coordinated closely with parents and educational staff. Through this support, attendance in lessons is guaranteed.
Working hours will align with school schedules and will be discussed individually.
