Position Summary:
The Case Underwriter role is integral to our pricing and underwriting processes, ensuring prompt and precise responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance financial models and reporting, present final underwriting decisions to leadership, and promote continuous improvements in our pricing and underwriting methodologies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage daily pricing and underwriting tasks for new and renewing business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and various business functions to ensure timely and comprehensive RFP responses.
- Work with the Executive Team to design and refine internal underwriting procedures, financial modeling, and reporting standards.
- Assist in client contracting, ensuring alignment of contract terms with underwriting parameters.
- Present underwriting findings to the Sales and Executive Team, clearly communicating any associated risks.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of underwriting and financial reporting systems.
- Analyze external data to identify best practices for underwriting across business opportunities.
- Handle multiple projects and deadlines as necessary.
- Collaborate across the organization to meet financial analytics and reporting needs.
- Assist in the analysis and development of pricing models for new products.
- Support various business needs as required.
