Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and effectively collaborate within a team environment. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not taken within the last year). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to adapt to various physical positions (sitting, standing, bending, etc.).

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include applying evidence-based techniques to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while effectively reducing challenging behaviors. This role can be physically demanding, as children may be unpredictable.
