About the job
Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician, where you can truly transform the lives of children with autism. You will engage directly with these children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will involve applying proven techniques to enhance communication, social interactions, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek candidates who are not only enthusiastic about helping children with autism but also possess patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary tools to support each child effectively, even if you do not have prior experience. This role requires resilience, as children can exhibit unpredictable and sometimes confrontational behaviors. Additionally, physical activity is a significant part of working with kids, so you should be prepared for tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Each day, you will leave knowing you have made a significant positive impact on the lives of children and their families. If you are ready to join a dedicated team focused on improving lives, apply now to start your rewarding journey as a Behavior Technician!
