Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:Must be willing to undergo a background check upon receiving a job offer. A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required. Reliable transportation is a must, and candidates may need to provide proof of a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a TB test if not completed in the past year. Ability to physically perform job duties, including getting down on the floor and standing up multiple times, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving quickly if necessary to ensure the safety of the children.

Join Life Skills Autism Academy as a dedicated Behavior Technician! We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children on the Autism Spectrum. Candidates must possess a current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be prepared to complete a 40-hour training course and pass the RBT competency exam within 45 days of starting employment. As an RBT, you will provide personalized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy in a 1:1 environment under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This crucial work focuses on enhancing essential developmental skills, including language, communication, social interaction, and readiness for school.
