Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:A genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Patience, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Must be 18 years of age or older. A high school diploma or GED is required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the past year). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Capability to move in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.) as necessary. Ability to lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds. Candidates must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

In this rewarding role, you will engage with children on a one-on-one basis, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living skills while effectively managing and reducing challenging behaviors.
