Responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Technician include:

Deliver direct client care in both one-on-one and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching methods and natural environment training
Implement behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies as dictated by the client’s individualized treatment plan developed by BCBA/BC
Collect, document, and analyze data on observable client behaviors
Support parent and caregiver training in alignment with individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols
Ensure timely and accurate documentation conforms to established procedures
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as directed by BCBA/BC
Adhere to safe practices when working with clients and report all critical incidents and safety issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work and therapy environment
Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and conducting behavior assessments
